Join us in celebrating Women’s History Month as we shine a spotlight on the remarkable women of the Central Valley, who have played pivotal roles in leadership positions, shaping the community and inspiring others. In this video, we delve into your stories, accomplishments, and the driving forces behind your incredible journeys. Below is information and tips to help you prepare for the filming session.

What to Expect/
Our goal is to provide a safe and comfortable environment for our talent during filming. Please let us know if you need any accommodations, such as seating preferences or if you cannot stand for long periods, or if you have any sensitivities to light or sound.

Lights / Luces
We will use two key lights (large soft boxes) along with a few smaller lights. While these lights may be bright initially, we will adjust them to soften their effect.

Cameras / Cámaras
There will be two cameras present — one will be the primary camera facing you, and the director will provide instructions on which camera to maintain eye contact with.

Microphones / Micrófonos
A microphone will be affixed to your t-shirt or blazer to ensure optimal audio recording quality. Please note that the microphone cable may be discreetly routed down your shirt for connection, so please be mindful of close contact

There may be instances where we ask a question twice or request you to repeat a statement. If you forget your words, feel free to pause, take a breath, and continue at your own pace. We understand, and we will edit the footage accordingly

HOW TO PREPARE FOR FILMING
What to wear
We want you to look and feel your best, so your comfort will always be our priority. The tips below are suggestions that are helpful for filming but not required.
- Wear solid colors, stay away from patterns – will cause video to distort.
- Opt for a shirt with a collar, as it allows for better microphone placement.
- Avoid wearing dangling jewelry that might create noise during filming.
- Remember to stay comfortable, as it will show on camera.
Como vestir:

TIPS & BEST PRACTICES FOR THE INTERVIEW
- When answering questions, repeat the question so viewers understand the context.
- Stay hydrated; dry mouth or lips can affect audio quality.
- Remember to breathe. If you need to start over, feel free to do so. We’ll edit out any mistakes, so relax, take a breath, and begin again.
- Begin the interview with a smile and end with a smile. Hold the smile until the production team says “CUT.”
