The Step Up Youth program in Tulare County empowers students to take action and make a difference in their community. The first year Traver School students opened a library for the community. They have won best project every year since, and have provided many resources to Traver.  They provided heaters and blankets to residents as many of the homes lack heating. Their future projects involve providing resources for farmworkers and beautifying Traver, CA.
